Adriana is thrilled to have joined Rainbow Railroad as a program officer in January 2021. She is passionate about having an impact on people’s lives through everyday empathetic actions, and she is honoured to assist LGBTQI+ individuals find their pathway to safety.
She has worked in the immigration and consular fields in both Mexico and Canada for over seven years. Adriana holds an MA in immigration and settlement studies from Ryerson University, and a certificate in immigration laws, policies and procedures from the University of British Columbia.
Outside of work, Adriana loves to walk the streets of Toronto with her wife and doggies. She is an avid cyclist and a proud member of Frontrunners, an LGBTQI+ running group of friends with whom she runs every weekend.
