Joselynn Crosby

Programs Officer, GAR
She/Her

Joselynn joined Rainbow Railroad as a Case Worker in May, 2022. She is also a sessional trainer for the SOGIE course at the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS). As a facilitator, she is both energetic and dynamic, honing her craft by engaging new techniques and ways of breaking down complex theories and thoughts for the consumption of participants with every training, meeting participants where they are at.

Joselynn has been working in the not-for-profit sector for the past 12 years, having started off working in direct service delivery at a newcomer settlement agency in Windsor, before moving to Toronto to join the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI); the umbrella organization of the im/migrant and refugee serving sector in Ontario. Joselynn’s role during her time with OCASI was facilitating two of their equity projects; the Positive Spaces Initiative (PSI) and the Accessibility Initiative (AI).

Her background is in Women’s Studies and Social Justice. Her drive and passion compel her to not only learn, but to also actively unlearn while deep diving into the complexities of identities and how they inform our experiences. In her off time, she can be found taking long walks, doing yard work, kayaking, and consuming an immoderate amount of television.
