Monique joins the Rainbow Railroad team with nonprofit sector experience spanning Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. She is a graduate of Queen’s University, where she pursued a B.A.H. in Applied Economics as well as a minor in Global Development Studies and a Certificate in Law. Firmly believing that global issues must be approached through a perspective that is both data-driven and human-centric, Monique is excited to contribute Rainbow Railroad’s work in supporting LGBTQI individuals across the world. Outside of work, Monique can be found downtown with the local bird rescue team, volunteering at the farmer’s market, or at home, attempting to improve her baking skills.
