Pax is a Torontonian writer and consultant. Pax got her start as a political aide and speechwriter, and holds a BA in Hons. Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. She also holds her MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics. As a research and policy consultant, Pax focuses on where international humanitarian efforts fail queer people. She has consulted on sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) rights advocacy for numerous international NGOs.
During COVID-19, Pax missed Toronto’s gay scene and Founded Queer Toronto Literary Magazine, a non-profit dedicated to elevating and celebrating queer voices in Canada.
